A Very Happy Thanksgiving

I feel that I need to caveat this post before I begin. To be clear, I LOVE me a good tablescape under any circumstance. But when it comes to Thanksgiving (or any holiday that involves a sit-down dinner), the only things that truly matter to me are (1) the opportunity to have such an event in the first place #thankful (2) the company and (3) the food*. Whatever comes after all that is a bonus.

But, that being said, if the company's awkward and/or the food's abysmal, a charming tablescape and a bottle of wine kept at arm's length will surely help mask some of the pain.

If I had a dining table (let alone the capacity to fit more than two people in my apartment for a Thanksgiving dinner), here are some items I'd use to dress it up in a simple, festive wayavoiding use of any decorative gourds.

Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving.
